The community isolation center with 309 beds for COVID-19 patients classified in the green group, or those with mild or no symptoms, has been renovated and well-equipped to meet the standards set by the Department of Disease Control under the Ministry of Public Health.

Mr. Sopon Racharaksa, Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) said, “The high level of collaboration among the teams at Frasers Property, Amata Corporation and the government authorities have enabled the successful and speedy transformation of our ready-to-use factories into a community isolation center for COVID-19 patients in just a week. We responded immediately to the call to support the community amidst a rapid spread of the pandemic. To cater to increasing demand for hospital beds, we are planning to introduce more beds in the next phase. We continue to work closely with the Government and relevant stakeholders to help the community overcome these challenging times.”

Mr. Viboon Kromadit, Director and Chief Marketing Officer of Amata Corporation Public Company Limited, said: “Together with Frasers Property and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, we believe in giving our utmost support to the community to tide over the crisis. The community isolation center is well supported in terms of utilities and infrastructure, and receives food items and other necessities from related Government authorities and private sectors.
